Helping others is a way of life around the Revolution Marketing & Management office, so we’re always looking for chances to give back. We’re currently preparing for the Nevada Susan G. Komen “More Than Pink” walk, which will raise awareness of breast cancer and support the effort to find a cure. JC, our firm’s Director of Operations, explained that all of us have either been affected by this type of cancer or know someone who has. We’re honored to play a small role in the fight against it.
The “More Than Pink” walk is part of Susan G. Komen’s new brand platform. The idea is to emphasize the organization’s work and the people behind it rather than the simple act of wearing pink. While the color will still be the principal color of the breast cancer movement, the nonprofit is more committed than ever to raising awareness and getting closer to a cure. The new focus on walking is also meant to encourage a greater sense of community among those who take part in fundraising events.
We also recently participated in the AFAN AIDS Walk in Nevada. This was a great chance for Team Revolution Marketing & Management to be part of something special in our city and meet all kinds of likeminded people.
